About us
We, Dennis de Jong and Jeroen van der Meer, have been working together in the solar energy sector for more than 10 years. Dennis in general management and Jeroen in various IT roles. No matter how the businesses we worked in evolved, there was always a common theme: make solar easy. This mindset led to numerous innovative IT solutions.
Two years ago, we started completely independent from one another, exploring the world of residential heat pumps. We quickly realized how complex it is to select and install the right system. Inspired by our experience in solar energy, we saw an opportunity to bring the same simplicity that today exists in solar to design solutions to heat pumps: a fresh, innovative approach to designing (air-water) heat pump systems—with accuracy, ease and efficiency at its core.
In the beginning of 2025, we decided to turn our ideas into reality by launching HPGO. Our mission is both simple and ambitious: Make heat pumps easy. In 2026, HPGO will introduce a tablet-based software application designed to bring major benefits to residential heat pump sellers and installers, including:
- Saving more than two hours per quotation
- Minimizing the need for specialist knowledge in most of the design and quotation process
- Increasing customer value (more all-electric vs. hybrid solutions possible because of more accurate design)
- Achieving more one-time right installations because all required information is available for the installer
- Providing reliable savings calculations for customers
- And most importantly: ensuring a system design that guarantees customer satisfaction—never cold feet
